This is an exciting change of pace :)
I’ve been wanting to start a personal blog for some time now, but have found myself held back for one reason or another – the primary excuse always being “there’s no time” because, indeed, I do keep myself busy! However, I feel the hour is right and so today I finally announce this blog! (See About Me for details.)
Here, I will post primarily the goings-on of my life in art and design and learning. I am a designer and artist by heart – as well as by profession – and most of my time is spent involved in some creative endeavor or another. Whenever I’m assembling a collage, taking photographs, designing clothing, decorating my apartment, designing a website, posting a video, etc. ad nauseum… I’ll be writing about it here. I will also probably divulge too much of my personal life and share a laugh or two with you :P
Tonight, Cory and I are going to watch the IMAX documentary on Beavers (yes, really) and then get to reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because we’ve finally finished the fourth book! :D I’m reading them aloud to him after having read the series countless times to myself already.
Oh, and this story is totally awesome (although I think it’s a hoax – they’re still debating).
That’s all I got.
P.S. I was thinking of collecting all my past blogs in this database here – so that my old blogs on photography, personal finance, and weight loss could be collected here in the archives before this intro post. Thoughts?

Nice to see you starting a blog. I vote for the Archives to be published too. :) I agree with you about Lady Gaga also, I think she makes catchy music and though she seems a bit strange to me I don’t know her, so I’m certainly not going to judge because of some silly costumes. I’m just glad to see that she uses her celebrity for good in this crazy world. I saw an amazing quote by her the other day about how her fans come first before friends or men or anything. And P.S. the picky person in me has to correct you to say it’s actually St. Louis, MO not Kansas. ;) Not that it makes what happened any better. I wish it wasn’t associated with the Midwest at all.

Actually I prefer _living_ as against to consume the live of strangers – but i’m an artist too and i’m always happy to see the creativ emission of creativ people.

I’m so glad you decided to stop letting the lack of hours in a day stop you from keeping a personal blog!
Personally, I think it would be a great idea to collect together all your old blogs and have them assessable again as there are quite a few posts I’d like to go back and reread.
I think combining all past blogs into one is a fantastic idea! You want this blog to be a place for everything Shanti, so make it one! Tie it all together, show us the whole picture.
